Just as with the Balboa
Baby "Dr. Sears" Adjustable Sling which was also part of
this consumer hands-on evaluation, the Balboa
BabyŽ Nursing Cover was
an entirely different kind if creature to work with.
The Balboa BabyŽ Nursing Cover created an
enormous level of response with
the mothers participating in our hands-on
product evaluation who are currently lactating,
and many who are not!
Even for myself it was a learning experience.
The women had plenty to say, especially
the mothers.
It appears that just as the independent evaluators shared in
their reports, there is a strong lack of knowledge for many new mothers
as to how to make informed buying decisions with nursing covers and

It appears that as far as the women were concerned, the Balboa BabyŽ Nursing
Cover was "the bomb!." It was nothing short of the ultimate
to them in style and function with a number of the women emphasizing the convenient
pocket on the cover where they could keep pads and the burp cloth. It was quite
amusing to see so many women excited over what to myself was such a simple product

As we ran through the videotapes from the hands on experience for
each participant with

could safely say that it easily rivaled the Balboa

of the mothers participating in our evaluation process, the focus in reference
to comfort was of minimal mention. The primary comment which was consistent with
most of the mothers was "...not feeling restricted".
After reviewing all videotapes, feedback forms and evaluation reports and

Stars in this evaluation category for Comfort.
COST BENEFIT: Rating Level - [5] 
Cost Benefit was a quite easily determined. The textile materials used for the
Balboa BabyŽ Nursing Cover, the overall functionality/use, durability level
and visual appeal, were all holding high scoring. When the mothers were queried
in our feedback forms how they felt as for cost benefit, it was all to clear
